Sacrament of Holy Orders
This is the Sacrament by which a man is enabled to follow his calling to be a deacon, a priest or a bishop. Like marriage the Church acknowledges the priesthood as a holy and lifelong state.
Priests are always ordained by bishops. Men who feel that they might have a vocation to the Permanent Diaconate or the Priesthood may wish to speak to the priests of the parish or to contact the Vocations director for the Archdiocese Fr John Diver at this e-mail address: firstname.lastname@example.org
